The Tennessee State/Gardiner Scholarship is bestowed to a Tennessee student enrolled in an accredited college, university or seminary who has committed to a career in Christian service. While the TN State/Gardiner Scholarship is not limited to applicants with Huguenot ancestry, they may be given preference. All applicants are expected to have knowledge of the Huguenots and their sacrifices made to preserve their faith. Consideration will be given to the applicant’s academic record and moral character. The selection of the recipient shall not be based on race, creed, color or national origin.
The TN Branch Scholarship committee shall consist of the Tennessee Branch President, Second Vice President, the Branch Treasurer and the President of the Chapter hosting the annual Branch Assembly. The committee will be responsible for the selection of the applicant and awarding of the Scholarship in the amount of $1000.00. Students must submit a resume to one of the TN Branch officers listed below.
